The N-Ferno 6885 FR Winter Hard Hat Liner provides warm fire-resistant (FR) protection for those working in cold environments where arc flash is a risk. Made with two layers of FR modacrylic-cotton twill blend for enhanced warmth and comfort. This lightweight shoulder-length thermal liner is extra-long to keep head, ears and neck covered while fitting comfortably under helmets or hard hats without bulk. The unique zip-off cap design allows workers to remove the bottom part of the liner for wear alone as a thermal FR skull cap. It can also be buttoned atop hard hats to keep the bottom up and out of the way. To attach to a hard hat, remove the suspension and thread the system through the four slots in the liner. Then, secure the four hook and loop points to the suspension before inserting back into the hard hat. You can also unzip the lower neck cover for wear as a standalone FR cap.
