The Skullerz 8974V Class E (Electrical) Safety Helmet with 8991 Visor Kit features a dielectric shell and a six-point suspension system to provide heavy-duty, yet lightweight and comfortable, all-over-head protection from top, side, front and back impacts as well as high-voltage system contacts. For increased eye and face protection, 8974V helmets also include an easy-mount, removable visor that features a z87 UV-protective lens that's treated with Fog-Off and Tena-Coat technologies. Permanent Fog-Off, anti-fog technology ensures crystal-clear see-through, no matter the job, which is particularly useful for those working with face masks and respirators or those trekking though environments where extreme temperature changes are common. Reliable Tena-Coat technology provides durable scratch-resistance against kicked stones, windblown dust and a variety of other abrasive nuisances. The helmet's smaller, low-profile brim also helps improve the wearer’s field of vision, particularly when looking up, and its flexible, open-frame, multi-point adjustable-suspension design maximizes airflow for breathable, all-day wearing comfort. A one-size-fits-most format accommodates those who wear hat sizes 6.5 through 8, and a premium, easy-fit ratcheting system allows the wearer to tighten or loosen the internal suspension band without having to take the helmet off. Its one-handed fit-adjustment knob also pivots to improve overall ergonomics while providing extra clearance for bandana or ponytail knots. A padded, moisture-wicking, odor-resistant sweatband and top pad line the sides, forehead and top of the interior, and both the headband and top pad are removable for machine-washing and/or easy replacement. An integrated chin strap allows the wearer to secure the helmet in place to ensure protection during sudden movements, falls and impacts. Built with even weight-distribution and comfort in mind, all Skullerz 8974 helmets should deliver a snug, balanced fit to please nearly anyone. Patent-pending headlamp slots on the front and rear accommodate Skullerz Hard Hat Headlamps (lamps sold separately).
